Steve Triolo Electric officially began in March of 2004. However, My training as an electrician began in the late 90’s, where as a plant manager of a meat analog manufacturer in San Francisco, I wore many hats as start-up companies require of their workers. I was required and inspired to take care of everything from hiring and managing employees, procuring raw materials and ingredients, oversee the production and QC of products, to the purchasing, installation, operation and maintenance of the combination of industrial meat packing and bakery equipment. It was the latter that I found the most gratifying and I found I had real knack for the electrical troubleshooting, repairing and installations necessary to develop and maintain a safe, productive manufacturing facility.
In September of 2000, I bid farewell to the soon to be sold Vegi-Deli and said hello to a very special Friendship and business/technical relationship with none other than the West county Whiz, John Whisman. It was for the next four years that John not only managed to offer intensive on the job training but impart his extensive understanding of AC and DC electrical theory. With John’s natural ability to teach and gather an endless flow of jobs and my desire to learn and master the trade, his company, West County Electric, flourished. In my time with West County Electric, we covered everything from custom lighting, troubleshooting repairs, new construction and remodels in both commercial, residential and light industrial to grid-tie photo voltaic solar projects. It was in my last 2 years fulltime with John, his passion for alternative and green power systems led him to start Synergy Electrical Energy Systems. It was with Synergy that our know-how and talents blossomed with commercial solar jobs such as Quivera and Arajo wineries. To see these and other landmark projects for both of our careers, please visit www.synergyelectric.com. John has recently moved on to the sales and engineering firm, Stellar Energy where his talents and knowledge are applied in large scale commercial and industrial solar electric projects.
Another very influential master electrician and contributor to my training is the owner of Santa Rosa based Aloha Electric, George Ah-Chin. George’s 32 years of commercial electrical work in Hawaii’s Resort Hotel, Schools, hospital construction industry and excellent customer service skills was another crucial source of my training experience. With George, I have received the another level of training of electrical construction in many high-end residential and commercial jobs that brought me to point where I was able to move onto starting my own electrical contracting business.
To this day, Steve Triolo Electric continues to work with both Synergy and Aloha Electric on many jobs where my skills contribute to the completion of projects of the highest quality.
